Welcome to Octosquidink Boracay. By accessing boracaytattoo.com or booking an appointment with us, you agree to the following terms regarding your tattoo or piercing experience with Kurt Bataya and Matz Bayeta.

Booking & Scheduling

• Confirmation: Appointments are only finalized once synced with our Google Calendar and a formal confirmation is sent via email.
• Deposits: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your slot. This amount will be deducted from the final price of your “masterpiece.”
• Rescheduling: You may reschedule once with at least 48 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or “no-shows” will result in a forfeited deposit to compensate the artist’s dedicated time.

Client Requirements & Safety

• Age Limit: You must be 18+ years old. A valid passport or government-issued ID is mandatory upon arrival at our D’mall studio.
• Sobriety Policy: For your safety and the quality of the “Finished Stroke,” we strictly prohibit tattooing anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs. We reserve the right to refuse service without a refund if this policy is violated.
• Medical Disclosure: You must inform your artist of any bloodborne pathogens, skin sensitivities, or allergies (e.g., latex or specific pigments) before the session begins to ensure medical-grade safety.

Artistic Integrity & Intellectual Property

• Custom Design: Kurt and Matz specialize in “one-of-a-kind” pattern-based work. While we use your “Vision” as a guide, the final artistic execution (including “Pollination” and geometric flow) is at the professional discretion of the artist.
• Copyright: Custom designs created for you remain the intellectual property of Octosquidink. We reserve the right to photograph and film the “Art of the Reveal” for promotional use unless you explicitly opt-out in writing before the session begins.

Website Usage & Analytics

• Digital Tracking: By using boracaytattoo.com, you acknowledge and consent to the use of Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. These tools collect data on user behavior, including heatmaps and session recordings, to help us optimize our booking flow.
• Information Accuracy: While we strive for 100% website uptime and accuracy, Octosquidink is not liable for technical errors, scheduling glitches, or third-party service interruptions (e.g., Google Calendar outages).

Boracay Aftercare & Liability

• The “Island Life” Rule: For the best healing, you must avoid direct sunlight and swimming (ocean or pool) for at least 2 weeks. Octosquidink is not responsible for fading, scarring, or infections caused by ignoring these specific aftercare instructions.
• Medical Standards: We maintain strict, medical-grade sterilization protocols. Once you leave our studio, the responsibility for the healing process shifts entirely to the client.
• Touch-ups: Minor touch-ups are available at the artist’s discretion. Fees may apply if the original tattoo was damaged due to poor aftercare (e.g., sun exposure or salt-water immersion).

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be settled within the jurisdiction of the local courts of Aklan.
